HYGIENE AND PERIODONTAL DISEASE

Our hygiene staff are highly trained to help you obtain and keep good oral health by cleaninging your teeth, removing plaque and tartar on a regular basis, and taking necessary x-rays to aid the dentists in detecting decay, as well as screening for oral cancer.

Additionally, Dr. Mark Margolin, a Board Certified Periodontist, treats patients in our office  four days a month.  This allows our patients who need more extensive periodontal treatment to be seen here in the comfortable atmosphere to which they are accustomed.

As a last resort, if the tooth is not salvageable, simple extractions, surgical extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and biopsy services are now available in our office.  Local anesthetic, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and oral sedation are all options to make your surgery procedure a comfortable experience.

ENDODONTICS (ROOT CANAL THERAPY)

A root canal procedure is performed when the nerve of a tooth becomes infected or dies.    This This procedure allows the patient to keep his/her tooth.
